Q: What prompted you to reach out to Justine as an "outside" supervisor? 

A: As an instructor, Justine approached class topics in a way I found humanizing for everyone. Her example challenged me to be my more compassionate self.

She addressed topics other instructors avoided or ignored, lived and demonstrated ways of integrating self-of-therapist awareness into case analysis in a way that made it safe for us to join in, and did it all with a casual humor I found immediately welcoming.

Everything I appreciated about her as an instructor was even better in supervision.
